Dr. Leila Mona Ganiem, S.Pd, M.Si, M.Si, CPR, CICS, CIQaR, CIQnR
Leila Mona Ganiem is Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Communication Scholars Association (2017-now). Since 2008, she is a lecturer of the postgraduate program of Communication at Mercu Buana University, and also a guest lecturer in many universities in Indonesia.
She was a Commissioner in Indonesian Medical Council (2014-2020); Reviewer for scholarship recipients LPDP held by the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia (2016-2018); Communication Consultant (1999-now); Trainer in National Defense Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (2013-now); Member of Personal Development Consortium, Ministry of Education of Indonesia (2007-2014); work in Indonesian Embassy, Islamabad, Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1993-1996). She is also juror for many National Competitions held by Ministries or Organizations.
Mona was graduated from Indonesian University with a doctoral degree in communication. She had got a master's degree in communication; a master's degree in anthropology; a diploma followed by a bachelor's degree in English Education and a Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations.
Mona got certified international researchers in Qualitative and Quantitative from National Accreditation Committee-KAN; Instructor of Methodology Competence certificate from BNSP, Competence Assessor from National Accreditation Committee-BNSP (2019-2022); Certified International Communication Specialist) certification from The American Academy of Project Management (AAPM) (2018-2021), etc.
Her research interest is interpersonal communication, health communication, corporate communication, etc. She wrote 12 books, one of them is PSR-Personal Social Responsibility (Ganiem, Ambadar, Soekardjo, 2015). She is a speaker and trainer in Communication for more than 2500 seminars/trainings/workshops for national and international occasions. She wrote journal articles, articles for mass media, national and international journal reviewers. By 2021, Mona is also a YouTuber.
